  2. Scroll to the folder labeled 'Get Going' or 'Tools on the Go' (some handsets you will need to select the Shopping Cart first).
  3. Select Get New.

  1. Register for a subscription via our website.
  2. A message is sent to the handset.
  3. Click on the link within the message to download Pilot My-Cast.
  4. Run the application

Palm TREO

To use Pilot My-Cast 4, you will need to purchase and install the IBM WebSphere Micro Environment MIDP 2.0 for your phone. Follow the instructions below to obtain and install this software.

Note: Instructions assume that the suite of tools which includes the Palm Desktop Software, Hot Sync Manager, and Install Tool which came with the Treo is already installed and functioning properly on your desktop computer. Unfortunately we cannot provide technical support for these tools. Please contact the manufacturer or seller of your PDA if you experience problems with the sync software.�

  1. Follow this link to download the WebSphere Micro Environment MIDP 2.0 software from palmOne.
  2. Once purchased, download the zip file to your desktop.
  3. Open the zip file. Go to the folder labeled: weme571jvm\jvm\arm4t
  4. Copy the file J9JavaVMMidp20.prc to the desktop. (The .prc file extension may not show depending on your Windows Explorer configuration.)
  5. Start up the install tool from (usually found under Start Menu->Programs->Handspring).
  6. Click the add button and select the file J9JavaVMMidp20.prc (which you previously placed on the desktop in step 4).
  7. Connect your Treo to your desktop and sync it with your desktop using the HotSync button.
  8. After software is installed, you must reset your Treo via the reset button on the back of the handset.
  9. At this time the IBM JVM is installed and we can send a link to Pilot My-Cast 4 to your Phone.

Downloading Pilot My-Cast 4 to your phone:

Once you have completed registration via our website, a text message with a link to Pilot My-Cast 4 will be sent to your phone:

  1. Upon receipt of the message, view it and click on the URL.
  2. Answer "Yes" to download.
  3. Save to J9 Exchanger (NOT the card)
  4. Select "Open", then select the Midlet HQ icon.
  5. The application will download to your phone.
  6. An application icon for Pilot My-Cast will appear on your phone.
